I finished The Great Divide in September 2008. This soulprint is about division, multiplication, and duplicity in their various forms: cell division, fractals in nature, fertilization. Break us down far enough, and we're all the same as everyone and everything else. Everything's connected.

The term Soulprint comes from how I create these images. I shut out the world around me and turn my focus inward, pouring my heart and soul out onto the paper. When I'm finished, I step back and the image on paper looks something like a fingerprint, with the black lines in high contrast to the bright white paper. Because of this, I call these my Soulprints.
